The ideal candidate will have strong storytelling abilities, exceptional grammar and editing skills, and the ability to adapt tone and messaging to different audiences.
This role requires creativity, precision, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Write engaging content for websites, blogs, email campaigns, newsletters, and social media
Edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, tone, and brand consistency
Collaborate with marketing, design, and leadership teams to develop content strategies
Conduct research to ensure accuracy and credibility of information
Optimize content for SEO best practices
Develop compelling product descriptions, press releases, and promotional materials
Maintain editorial calendars and meet content deadlines
Ensure all messaging aligns with brand voice and objectives
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of professional writing and editing experience
Strong portfolio showcasing published work
Excellent grammar, proofreading, and editing skills
Familiarity with SEO principles and content management systems (WordPress or similar)
Strong research and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent time management and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Preferred Skills
Experience in digital marketing or content strategy
Knowledge of AP Style or other editorial standards
Experience with e-commerce or brand storytelling
Basic understanding of analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.)
